Our puppies are currently $1,500.
We ask for a $250 deposit to reserve the color & gender puppy of your choice. Deposits go towards the total adoption fee. We take Venmo, PayPal, cash or check.
The remainder of the fee ($1,250) is due on your pick up date. We do take payments leading up to that day, but the amount must be paid in full to take your new companion home!
First pick goes in order of date and time the deposit is received. Once you indicate that you’re ready, we will give 24 hours for you to send the deposit, otherwise you will forfeit your place in line.
We will need each family to choose their puppy the week of “meet and greets,” so that other families can choose as well. We welcome families in person or can set up video calls! If you miss that deadline, you will still get a puppy, but you will forfeit your place in pick line.
Life happens and we understand! In the event that your family cannot adopt your puppy, your deposit will be fully refunded once we find a replacement family.

A good breeder’s priority is the wellbeing of their puppies. Deposits are not only to reserve the puppy of your choice, but also ensure commitment & guarantees each puppy has a home by take home day at 8 weeks old. It also helps off-set basic upbringing needs such as feed, vet care, & supplies.
Puppies are a lot of work, so imagine having 10!
As ethical breeders, we sacrifice a lot of time, effort, money & emotion into our animals. All of our dogs are health tested, trained, vet approved, and fully grown before even being considered for breeding. We use natural breeding methods typically, but going to a canine fertility specialist may be required. All of this is costly and time consuming, but worth it!
Once puppies arrive, more than 2-3 hours away from home is on hold for 10+ weeks for each litter; from watching for birth & caring for mom to whelping to newborns to active puppy stage. Although we have regular jobs as well, we have to make sure someone is home at all times.
Puppies need around the clock, 24/7 care for the first 2 weeks. We’re caring for mama dog as well and making sure her needs are met. Although more rare with bigger breeds, emergencies can happen that cost thousands.
As they grow, we then need to take over feedings 3x a day as well as encourage play time, outdoor time, & socialization. We work on potty training, basic commands, & introduce them to all kinds of noises to make sure they‘re adaptable to all situations!
Breeding is a lot of work and requires a lot of knowledge, but through it all, it’s so worth it to provide amazing companions and better the retriever breed!
